The Draa Valley is the longest river in Morocco, originating in the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco in a  south-eastern direction, where the Dades Valley and the Emine River meet, cut the desert to Takonet, from which it flows mostly to the western side of the Atlantic, and little to the north of Tan-Tan.
